The Department Today:

The department aims to produce critical thinkers who are able to adapt quickly in today’s dynamic, technologically complex, global environment. Management majors study traditional managerial and business topics such as organizational perspectives and theories, global organizations, complex human systems, financial and managerial accounting, managerial finance, human resource management, marketing, production and operations management, information systems, and strategic management. The department is heavily engaged in the Systems Engineering and Operations Research majors, disciplines that address the development and modeling of large, complex systems.

Curriculum:

The department offers 26 courses in Management, 3 in Operations Research, and 4 in Systems Engineering.

Noteworthy:

Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the department is arguably the top undergraduate-only business program in the nation. Cadets participate in a wide variety of competitions in entrepreneurship, business venture planning, and operations research modeling. The department conducts Financial Literacy Seminars for cadets.
